Olmsted Falls Middle School

Full Time Schedule:
     Monday thru Friday | 8:30am to 3:30pm | 35-Hours per Week

Your Impact as a Medical Assistant in a PSI supported school

You’ll play a vital role in keeping students healthy, safe, and ready to learn — while providing reassurance to families and staff.

 


What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day health support in the school clinic

  • Administer medications and monitor student health needs

  • Monitor vital signs and assist with basic healthcare procedures

  • Support communicable disease prevention protocols

  • Assist with diabetes care and other chronic health needs (training provided as needed)

  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

  • Maintain documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA/FERPA compliance)

 


What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program (Required)

  • Experience working with children preferred

  • Knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention

  • Experience with diabetes care a plus (training available)

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
