Speech Language Pathologist — School Based
Employment Options: Full-Time | Part-Time
Location: Toledo, Ohio and the Surrounding Suburbs
Schedule: Monday-Friday | School Hours (Typically 7 hour days)
School Year / Contract: 2026 – 2027 School Year
Employment Type: W2 (Benefits Eligible Based on Hours)

Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)
(When available, PSI shares real assignment details early in the process)

Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
-
Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK-12 opportunities)
-
1-2 building placement when possible
-
Collaborative teams including Psychologists, Counselors, Intervention Specialists, and Administration
Your Impact as an SLP
You’ll support students’ speech, language, and communication development while helping schools create environments where students can succeed academically and socially.
Core Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group)
-
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Support MTSS / RTI initiatives as appropriate
What We’re Looking For
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid SLP license (state-specific)
-
School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available

Strong collaboration and communication skills
-
Passion for supporting student speech, language, and communication development
