Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — School-Based Special Needs / Medically Fragile Student (1:1)
School: Parma Normandy High School
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 am to 2:45 including transportation
Must haveTrach, Suction, Tube Feed experience. Requires Positioning and use of Special needs equip, Non ambulatory and total support ADLs.

Your Impact as a Nurse in a PSI Supported School
As a school-based nurse supporting a medically fragile student, you help ensure the student can safely attend school, participate in classroom activities, and thrive academically.
Your care provides reassurance to families and allows students to fully engage in their educational experience.
What You’ll Do

Provide one-on-one nursing care to a medically fragile student

Administer medications and medical interventions according to care plan

Monitor health status and respond to illness or injury

Support prevention of communicable diseases and maintain a healthy school environment

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
-
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
-
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines
What We’re Looking For

Active Ohio LPN License (Required)
-
Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
-
Pediatric or school health experience preferred but not required
-
Basic knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention
-
Current or willingness to obtain BLS / CPR / First Aid certification (role dependent)
