School Psychologist — School Based 

Employment Options: Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Case
Location: Dayton, Ohio and the Surrounding Suburbs 
Schedule: Monday-Friday | School Hours (Typically 7 hour days)
School Year / Contract: 2026 – 2027 School Year
Employment Type: W2 (Benefits Eligible Based on Hours)
Start Date: 2026 – 2027 School Year

Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)

(When available, PSI shares real assignment details early in the process)

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Collaborate on IEP development and progress monitoring

  • Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK-12 opportunities)

  • Work with 1-2 buildings when possible

  • Collaborative teams including Intervention Specialists, SLPs, Counselors, and Administration


Your Impact as a School Psychologist

You’ll support students across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains while helping schools create environments where students can thrive.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments

  • Collaborate on IEP development and progress monitoring

  • Develop evidence-based interventions for students

  • Provide individual and group counseling support as appropriate

  • Support MTSS / RTI initiatives

  • Partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-child outcomes


What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s or higher in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field 

  • Valid School Psychologist license (state-specific)

  • School-based experience preferred (newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available)

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Passion for supporting student growth and mental health
